Let’s face it, we don’t care how many subscribers (subs) are on our list. We care about how many sales our lists generates.
Everyone knows a list of buyers is worth a list 20 to 50 times its size of ordinary subs.
But how in the heck do you build a buyers only list easily and without breaking the bank?
Read on, because that’s exactly what this article is about.
How To Build A Buyers List
The method is so simple that at first you may think.. “Will that really work?”
The answer is, yes, yes it will.
Here’s how it’s done.
You will need a high perceived value report, software, video or other item that you would normally give away on your squeeze page in exchange for the subs email.
The difference in your report etc.. is that it must be of a super high perceived value. It must feel like something that if you were to sell it they would easily plunk down money for it.
Because instead of giving it away, you’re going to sell it for $1.00. Yes, just one measly dollar.
Because if it’s truly valuable and your copy makes them really want it and they won’t pay one measly dollar you don’t want them on your list anyway.
Think of it like this. Do the freebie seekers on your list ever make you any money? No, well they don’t on mine either.
And that can be a problem. You have to pay each month for your auto responder, hosting and a variety of other tools, so you need your list to generate a profit, not take a loss.
Every single person on your new list will be a buyer. Sure, they only spent a dollar. But you know they whipped out their credit card and bought something from you. You know they are proven buyers and buyers are worth many times what freebie seekers are worth.
Plus, another big benefit is, buyers very seldom send in spam complaints saying they don’t remember getting on your list. Buyers know they bought from you.
The Tools You’ll Need
You will need some tools to do this effectively and I’ll list out the ones I use below.
1. You need a squeeze page builder that does A/B split testing so that you can test different squeeze pages, headlines, bullets and calls to action without having to split your traffic between constantly changing pages. Here is the one I use and I really like them: Click Here!
2. You’ll need an Auto Responder company that’s friendly to marketers. I have used all of the top three and without a doubt this is my favorite: Click here!
Other than that you’ll need traffic. Please read my traffic getting articles to see how to get free or paid traffic to your heart’s content.
The big thing to remember here is that you’re going to be finally building a list of buyers. This is a really big deal because (and this may sound corny… but) buyers buy stuff!
